1. Never give out your ftp password to someone you don't trust.  If you give it to them they can delete your files.

2. Don't add people to the toolpage and give them full access unless you trust them.

3. If you don't want instant palace or guests, type `guest off.

4. Always turn your author off if you aren't using it by typing `author off, and you can turn it back on using `author on.

6.  Don't go giving out passwords to people you don't really know.

7. Get an antivirus and firewall for your computer, its the best way to prevent people from getting into your computer and stealing stuff.
